More Connections Added to Basic DLS Service

Note: With the release of Trainz Simulator 12, we are experiencing an increase in the number of users downloading from the Trainz Download Station. Due to this, the maximum number of connections is continually being reached for the basic Download Station access service. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In our continued support for the Trainz community we have increased the limits for the basic Download Station access. We hope that this will help alleviate the load as we continue to monitor the servers. Be aware that this will not guarantee a connection - those wishing to have instant and fast access should purchase a First Class Ticket.

Interview with Saxon Dixon

Q. What's your role on Trainz?
A. I'm an artist. I've mostly worked on the Speedtree stuff.

Q. What's the best thing about working on Trainz?
A. The best thing about working on trainz is seeing all the awesome work that people put into their routes - it's inspiring

Q. What's the best feature in Trainz that you've implemented and why?
A. I'm pretty new to the Trainz team, but I've probably touched all of the new trees in TS12 at one point or another.

Q. What visual aspects of Trainz do you think people will find most appealing?
A. I think the Speedtree system really adds alot to the visual quality of Trainz. It's amazing what can be done with them - the seasonal variations specifically have come along way.

Q. What do you like doing in your spare time?
A. I love painting in my spare time and pushing my art to a new level. I can't wait to really get my teeth sunk into some more art for Trainz as well. Besides from that, I enjoy just hanging with friends and having a good time.
